Resource Innovations is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing in-house creative team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a versatile designer with a strong portfolio that demonstrates both print and digital work, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for thoughtful, well-crafted design. 

As a Visual Designer, you’ll work both in design and production, collaborating closely with senior creatives, copywriters, and marketers to create compelling visuals across a range of formats — from marketing collateral and social media to digital campaigns and brand materials. You should bring a strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles, along with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. 

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of design experience, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and is eager to grow and contribute in a collaborative team setting, and is comfortable doing production work as well as creative design. 
 
*Agency experience is a plus. 

Key Responsibilities 

Design execution & craft  

  • Design clear, engaging visual assets for both print and digital channels, including marketing materials, social media, presentations, and web content 
  • Apply strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy to support consistent, effective storytelling 
  • Ensure final designs are visually polished, brand-aligned, and production-ready 

Creative Collaboration 

  • Work closely with senior creatives, Copywriters, and Marketing partners to execute creative concepts 
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and campaign development with ideas and references 
  • Accept feedback with curiosity and iterate thoughtfully to improve the work 

Problem Solving and Ownership  

  • Balance multiple projects with varying timelines, maintaining attention to detail and consistency 
  • Approach design challenges with resourcefulness and a solutions-focused attitude 
  • Ensure design deliverables meet technical specs for both print and digital outputs 

Workflow & Process  

  • Maintain organized design files and version control for efficient handoff and collaboration 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices 
  • Support asset creation and refinement across campaigns and channels as needed 

Requirements

Creative & Conceptual Skills  

  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work across both print and digital platforms 
  • 3+ years of experience in a design role, preferably in a creative or agency environment 
  • Examples illustrating a proficiency in layout, typography, and grid-based design principles 
  • Examples showing attention to detail and a clear understanding of brand consistency   

Software & Technical Skills  

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma 
  • Familiarity with production processes for both digital and print formats 
  • Experience preparing files for developers, printers, or external vendors

  • Curious, inventive, and open to learning and growing within a creative team 
  • Comfortable with deadlines, feedback loops, and a fast-paced environment 
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on craft and quality 
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills

The compensation range for this contract position is $45-60/hr.
