Benefits Manager

The Benefits Manager will partner with the Director of Global Benefits to provide day-to-day administration and functional support of all company global benefits and wellness programs, approve and process all benefits changes such as life events, cafeteria updates, 401(k) changes, within the benefit platform

What You'll Do

  • Conduct Global new hire benefits orientation for employee benefit plans such as health, dental, voluntary plans, supplemental life, 401K, and other company benefit offerings
  • Research, make recommendations and coordinate the benefits set-up requirements and offerings for current and emerging countries
  • Partner with Director, Global Benefits to ensure that all Time Off related to the Leave Programs globally are managed in compliance with local, state/provincial, and national laws, and monitor and track ADA accommodations
  • Partner with Director, Global Benefits on wellness, benefits program, time off, and leave of absence design that will be rolled out globally (e.g., country setup, plan administration)
  • Assure company compliance with provisions with HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, OSHA, WC, and FLSA regulations. Prepare reports required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies. Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and report necessary or suggested changes to Director.
  • Assist with annual 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, reporting, plan audits, and work with auditors on information
  • Build and execute annual calendar of benefits education, communications, and events to drive adoption of and engagement with employee benefits programs.
  • Manage the vendor selection, on-boarding, contract review, and implementation of new vendors for in-region perks and benefits
  • Document Global benefit processes to ensure compliance. 

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in international or global benefits
  • Previous experience supporting and administering a Leave of Absence Program
  • Experience in building and refining programs, policy and process that provide an exceptional employee experience within a high-growth company
  • HRIS experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and take initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Individual Contributor
