As Ripple brings its fast and efficient cross-border payments service to more and more customers around the world, we’re rapidly expanding our team of blockchain innovators and business brains. 

We need a Director, Total Rewards and HR Operations to lead a team that focuses on customer service, process improvement and support for our employees and key stakeholders.


What you’ll do

You will lead a team of individuals in the day-to-day operations and delivery of Ripple's Total Rewards and Systems programs. Some of your key responsibilities will include:


Total Rewards

  • Design, implement, and administer innovative compensation and benefits programs and policies.
  • Evaluate complex data/information to make recommendations that will assist the business in attracting, retaining, motivating and rewarding top performers.
  • Early diagnosis of trends (external or internal) that could impact the business and providing workable solutions.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive benchmark analysis; complete annual/quarterly Radford survey completion.
  • Responsible for designing and maintaining competitive base pay structures and salary ranges.
  • Consults and liaises with business partners on business unit issues by evaluating Total Rewards programs, developing recommendations for changes and enhanced efficiencies, and implementing new programs.
  • Advises and educates management on compensation related programs, policies and procedures; may develop training programs and other communications collateral as appropriate.
  • Develops recommendations to adjust salary structures in response to changing organizational needs and market values.
  • Drives and administers major compensation initiatives: annual performance management/merit cycle, key incentives and equity awards.

HR Systems and Operations

  • Responsible for project planning from conception to delivery of key HR Systems initiatives. Including; determining and documenting business requirements, streamlining and improving current processes and presenting new programs to the client groups as appropriate.
  • Evolving and enhancing our HR programs, processes, technologies, and vendor portfolios.
  • Driving the Ripple culture through our programs and customer service standards.
  • Supporting and/or driving key business and ad hoc HR Operations initiatives such as M&A, SOX process development and other projects affecting major populations of the workforce.

Who you are

We’re looking for a great relationship builder with powerful communication and organizational skills who wants to take the initiative and have a real impact on the future direction of our fast-growing business.

We expect that you’ll have been in HR Total Rewards and Operations for at least ten years, which means you’ll be able to demonstrate considerable experience in:

  • Being accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships through effective and timely communication
  • Responding to and resolving customer service issues quickly
  • Managing a variety of projects effectively

This role will require you to partner with people across our business, so you’ll need to be comfortable dealing with a range of roles and responsibilities.
