Vicarious is looking for an HR professional with deep expertise and leadership experience in people operations for a strategic role focused on building a best-in-class employee experience. This role will be responsible for Vicarious’ people function, culture, structure and policies and drive Human Resources best practices and initiatives.
In this role, you will serve as a member of the management team and a thought partner for the Executive leadership team. You will be expected to build programs in leadership, employee development, talent acquisition, performance management, culture, compensation, organizational design and change.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior leadership on business issues and growth opportunities
- Make Vicarious the destination for top robotics and AI talent
- Oversee the creation of an onboarding and orientation experience that builds alignment and helps people feel part of our mission
- Build a highly competitive compensation and rewards structure
- Successfully address the challenges of remote work brought on by Covid-19 and create practices for remote work the engage and enrich the employee experience
- Deliver an exceptional Health and Wellness program
- Understand, promote, and help shape the company values, principles and culture
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies and legal requirements
- Serve as a coach across the organization
- Build a cohesive and skilled HR and Recruiting team
Experience
- Masters degree in Human Resources Management or other relevant field
- 5+ years as the Head of Talent or HR
- Relevant certifications (SPHR/PHR) a plus
- Start-up experience in a high growth enterprise
- Carry a strong voice for the organization with a collaborative and approachable style
- Well rounded in all aspects of the HR function
- Strong familiarity with California labor law
