As a Diversity Talent Program Lead on the Experience Team, you’ll be a powerhouse working on multiple initiatives that intertwine diversity and inclusion.  You’ll utilize your skills in diversity, university recruiting programs, and project management to push forward various programs and projects.  

What You’ll Do

University Programs

  • Intern Program
    • Partner closely with our University Recruiter on all things relating to Interns
    • Create and execute events for our summer and fall interns
    • Partner closely with Engineering and People stakeholders to provide updates, assessments, and analyses on the program
  • University Recruiting
    • Responsible for the design and execution of our University Programming including engineering internship programs, UR-related events, and future non-tech and MBA internship programs 
    • Ensure our programs foster a diverse and inclusive workforce 
    • Partner with the Experience Team and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team on ways to incorporate diversity hiring into all aspects of talent programming
  • Apprenticeship Program
    • Create and execute events for our newly built Apprenticeship Program
    • Partner closely with Engineering and People stakeholders to provide updates, assessments, and analyses on the program
    • Partner closely with our University Recruiter for all things relating to Apprentices

What We Look For

  • 6+ years of project management experience on a People team
  • Experience with running University Programs (i.e. Intern Program, University fall recruiting, etc.)
  • Bonus: Experience running virtual / remote University Programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with stakeholders
  • Ability to advocate for and build out a remarkable experience for our Interns and Apprentices by partnering with cross-functional partners, assessing feedback, etc. 
  • Passion for diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Always curious and always learning!

Location

 

We’re excited to announce that Affirm is now a remote-first company!  The majority of our roles can be accomplished anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of Quebec).  While most Affirmers will have the option to choose a remote-first accommodation, our offices in San Francisco, New York City, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Salt Lake City will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis. This role requires you to live within reasonable access to a particular office in order to fulfill certain job responsibilities.
