About the Team

The DoorDash Recruiting Programs Team are the builders and owners of programs that impact the entire DoorDash population. The Program Manager’s on this team work to stabilize and define influential programs such as Interview Training, Internal Mobility, and Referrals as well as ensuring that these programs remain innovative, fresh, and cultivated as our company grows and evolves. 

We are looking for an Employee Referrals Program Manager to partner with the Recruiting team and key business stakeholders to redefine and stabilize DoorDash’s Referrals Program. Referrals are a critical hiring channel for DoorDash; however, the execution of the program as it exists today is unstructured, inconsistent, and not optimized for success. If you’re curious to solve a “messy” yet complex hiring channel problem as well as build/own a program end-to-end, this role is just right for you. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Stabilize, refresh, and revamp the Referrals program as it exists today
  • Work with key business stakeholders and cross-functional partners to identify pain-points and gaps in the Referrals process
  • Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Referrals program
  • Optimize the Referral process for the referrer and the candidate’s experience while increasing candidate quality (i.e. improve communication between all parties involved, identify operational efficiencies, set SLAs for each milestone in the process)
  • Define and measure the referral channel’s effectiveness when it comes to hiring volume, referral candidate quality, how to contribute to high priority recruiting needs, etc. 
  • Develop a multi-channel marketing plan and branding strategy to advertise the program

  • You have 2+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience.
  • You have success in building and implementing programs (referrals experience is preferred but not required).  
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • You have demonstrated experience partnering with internal and cross-functional teams. 
  • You have experience with Greenhouse or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • You are a problem solver - you see a complex problem and you want nothing more than to solve it. 
  • You are a planner & organization is second nature to you.
  • You are humble - you’re willing to listen, learn & are open to feedback. 
  • You are a team player that loves to bring diverse perspectives to the table.
  • You are self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
