Job Description

Fivetran is looking for a Global Payroll Lead to coordinate our payroll efforts across all of our global locations. This leader will drive the strategic design, development, management, implementation, and administration of global payroll. Additionally, as the Payroll Lead you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless employee experience and streamlining our systems, accounting processes, and many others facets of payroll.

As the Global Payroll Lead at Fivetran, you will:

• Own and oversee the processing of global payroll
• Work with our local service providers around the globe to coordinate international payroll
• Support Fivetran employees through a focus on customer service and education
• Drive improvements and efficiencies by partnering closely with the Accounting, HR and other organizations to establish best-in-class processes for global payroll and related programs
• Maximize the effectiveness of technologies and supporting processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives
• Partner with equity administration owners, Legal and other to manage, exercise of stock options and equity compensation reporting
• Own payroll related accounting workflows including all relevant entries into NetSuite while continuously streamlining these accounting processes 
• Lead the US and international payroll transformation efforts, including automation and building for scale a knowledge of business practices and cultures across multiple international regions
• Ensure team members stay up-to-date on applicable compliance (e.g, Payroll, tax, accounting) pronouncements and ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific policies and procedures

What you'll bring to the table:

• Expertise in the end-to-end global payroll process and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts; ability to assess and provide input into impact of a business process / system change
• Ability to think strategically and also act operationally; ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies 
• Experience working with a geographically dispersed team
• CPP designation preferred
• Expertise in global payroll process including payroll compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with NetSuite and Namely preferred
