Sr Manager / Director, People OperationsAbout the role

The Head of People Operations will work on creating an amazing employee experience and rigorous operations across a core set of people programs, systems and processes. This role reports to the VP, People and is based in San Francisco (once we return to the office).

Responsibilities

  • As a functional leader, you will be responsible for establishing a vision and strategy that lead to business results, great internal partnership, operational rigor and an amazing employee experience. 
  • As a people manager, you will be responsible for scaling the team, its culture, and its operations through this exciting growth phase. You’ll support, mentor, and coach the team’s members to their highest potential performance and growth.
  • Own benefits, immigration/mobility, onboarding & offboarding operations, HRIS, compliance and operations/processes.
  • Proactively anticipate and then lead and direct conversations around complex problems, goals, tradeoffs, and ideas.
  • Manage our amazing People Operations coordinator and possibly other people as we scale.
  • Proactively surface and solve complex and cross-functional issues before they create challenges for employees, managers or cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with other People team leaders as well as key cross-functional partners such as Payroll, FP&A and IT.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in HR and/or operations.
  • A deep commitment to leadership excellence and minimum 2+ years in people management.
  • Very strong operational rigor and experience in process improvement.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and relevant subject matter knowledge including on benefits and immigration.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, including recruiting, payroll, IT and other partners.
  • Experience scaling an operations function.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and responsibility; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it.

Nice to have but not required 

  • Experience scaling a SaaS company.
  • International growth experience.
