What You Will Do

The Coordinator will play an important support role on the People Team by contributing to a range of areas including HRIS management, data entry, on-boarding, off-boarding, reporting, 401(K), equity, as well as ad hoc dashboard projects. The coordinator ensures data is well maintained, accurate and entered correctly in a timely manner. This person should be comfortable with data input and managing data, thrive in a service/support oriented position and is eager to learn and improve upon existing processes. Duties and responsibilities:

On-boarding

Onboard new hires into People Systems and kick off new hire paperwork, ensure all new hire paperwork is complete and correct.

Off-boarding

• Off-board employees in systems and coordinate with managers, Payroll and IT teams to ensure employees are exited correctly.

• Conduct exit interviews as needed

• Maintain retention and exit interview dashboards

HR Support

• Prepare and maintain HR dashboards

• 401(k) and equity work, both for internal external stakeholders

• Prepare and maintain personnel records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, and changes in job classifications 

• Ad hoc reporting as needed for Board Meeting, Executive Team or quarterly meetings

• Accurately track and process HR documents; follow up as needed• Respond to third party requests, including unemployment and state disability correspondence, and verifications of employment

• Scan and record keep confidential employee documents

• Own Help Scout, by assigning emails or calls to the team, accordingly to provide great customer service to the org

• Compile and prepare reports and documents as needed

• Maintain and file current Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting

• Perform a variety of other duties to support the smooth operation of the People department, including scanning, uploading and mailing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred. 

• Experience with Google Docs and Excel required. 

• Strong knowledge of systems such as HR Information Systems (HRIS), Good Eggs uses Dayforce.

• Strong service orientation and a sense of urgency is required.

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal and must have the ability to communicate effectively across all management and functional levels. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills and be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize urgent needs and meet deadlines. 

• Able to work independently as well as with a team. 

• Must be able to exercise discretion, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy in all communications, due to the exposure to highly sensitive and confidential information. 

• Must be flexible/adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced constantly changing startup environment.

Competencies
