Responsibilities

  • Manage new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Manage and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Policy and process drafting; manage handbook; manage Human Resources confluence page
  • Manage all HR & Benefits administration & our HRIS/employee systems (Lattice, Sequoia, ADP/Workday). Update employee data in HR information systems. Keep updated personnel and benefits files, as well as ensuring compliance with personnel policy and Form I-9 regulations
  • Manage HR Help Desk - partnering with our PEO to ensure that all payroll, benefits, and administration issues are resolved in a timely and high quality manner
  • Manage immigration life cycle for individual employees, including temporary and permanent work permits, in consultation with legal counsel
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance as well as company wellness program, employee recognition, education assistance requests, and open enrollment

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks are essential
  • You should be a self-starter, and have the ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
  • A high level of trustworthiness is essential, as the HR Manager will handle sensitive and confidential information
  • At least four years of experience in human resources, employee benefits and/or administrative support is preferred.
