We're looking for an HR Specialist to join our growing People team. If you are detail oriented, enthusiastic about helping People Ops run smoothly for our growing team, and want to join a mission drive company, we would love to chat with you!

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee information requests & update company systems with personnel information and changes
  • Manage HR Help Desk requests - partnering with our PEO & internal HR team to ensure that all payroll, benefits, and administration issues are resolved in a timely and high quality manner
  • Manage employee onboarding including getting employees setup in systems, ensuring all IT tasks are handled, managing onboarding training schedule, and communicating with employees ahead of their start date
  • Assist with payroll on a bi-weekly basis (inputting and reviewing payroll information) & track payroll changes
  • Manage our state registrations for payroll & ensure documentation is up to date
  • Manage training and compliance requirements
  • Draft and manage policies as necessary
  • Other projects on an as needed basis

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks are essential
  • You should be a self-starter, and have the ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
  • A high level of trustworthiness is essential, as you will handle sensitive and confidential information
  • At least two years of experience in human resources, employee benefits and/or administrative support is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competency in G Suite, Microsoft applications, or other data manipulation tools
  • Remote OK - no preference on location in the continental US
