As an HRBP, you will develop the talent strategy and advise on all things people related for our Engineering, Product, Design and Support groups. What Excites You

  • Provide strategic partnership and counsel to the EPDS leaders at Plaid 
  • Create and implement creative and progressive talent strategies tailored to your client groups, addressing retention and development needs 
  • Support the EPDS teams through all People processes including compensation, talent development, performance management, employee relations, organizational design, etc.
  • Coach and develop leaders at all levels within the organization, from staff through senior leaders
  • Use data and analytics in order to inform key business and talent decisions
  • Collaborate with other People Team functions (compensation, recruiting, talent development, learning, etc.) to inform the design and implementation of People programs
  • Mentor and coach other members of our People team and build a team of your own as the company grows 
  • Ensure employee advocacy and fairness

What Excites Us

  • 7+ years experience as strategic HR Business Partner
  • Experience partnering with world class engineering organizations and leaders
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make thoughtful decisions
  • Analytically driven, experienced in utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Experience driving a variety of people, programs and processes (annual performance management cycles, calibration facilitation, compensation planning, executive coaching, employee relations/conflict resolution, organizational design, etc.)
  • Track record of strong partnerships with business leaders and leaders of central operations functions 
  • Concise and compelling in written and verbal communication 
  • You are intellectually curious about people and organizational issues and are motivated by a desire to help others 
  • Impeccable discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Agile and at ease in a dynamic company 
  • Get your hands dirty 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • SHRM/HCI preferred
