About the Team

At DoorDash, people are our most important asset. The HR Technology Team helps to deliver and facilitate strategic technology projects within the People Team to help DoorDash make the most of their people. We have recently completed our initial Workday implementation, and are looking to build the team to accelerate the advancement of the platform. About the Role

DoorDash is looking for an HRIS leader to design and implement strategic initiatives across the HR organization. You will work cross-functionally to achieve business goals in scaling and enabling Workday at DoorDash. As a leader, you will connect with other leaders to shape the future of HR Technology solutions.

This role is based in Phoenix, AZ or San Francisco, CA and will report to the Head of HR Technology.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Manage our Workday solution to meet the business needs and support the Workday global solution in the focus areas, HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence and Security
  • Work closely and in alignment with other functional areas (People Operations, IT, Recruiting, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Finance)
  • Lead the day to day activities of the HRIS team while developing, coaching, and providing feedback to the team. Maintains technical knowledge, educates self on emerging solutions, and builds professional and vendor relationships.
  • Develop, maintain, and be responsible for our Workday Roadmap, including new modules, release schedule, maintenance updates, and documentation. 
  • Identify, recommend, and implement Workday-based solutions to address new or existing business or operational opportunities. 

We’re excited about you because you have…

  • Significant functional and technical experience in Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent and Performance, and Security. Payroll, Benefits, LMS experience desired.
  • Experience leading HRIS/HR Operations teams in a global company, supporting diverse employee populations from a system as well as training perspective.
  • Possesses strong operational and project management experience, driving exceptional results on a daily basis.
  • Highly capable to work effectively in a challenging, high growth, extremely fast-moving environment while maintaining a high attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Workday implementation experience, especially multiple complex countries.
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Workday Certifications - HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Medium Enterprise
    • Experience working for US public company and management of SOX/internal audit requirements.
