PagerDuty is looking for an HRIS Manager. If you’re looking for a unique role, this is it. In this role, you will join the People Operations team and have a stake in the execution of our People Technology Roadmap as an employee experience design expert, reimagining the employee experience across internal programs and processes. You will partner cross-functionally in a role that bounces between tactical administration and strategic consultation. You’ll partner with our People Ops Analyst, provide system training to other members of the team and make our HRIS platform the system of activity for Dutonians. This role is a dynamic, hands-on partnership for someone who is willing to take on the fast-paced environment found in a hyper-growth company. - Lead our transition to a new human capital management (HCM) platform, including sunsetting multiple People systems
- Consult with business partners and end users to find solutions to current problems
- Help develop training materials for end users
- Support various events/teams, such as Payroll, benefits enrollment, performance, Compensation and merit
- Partner with internal and external partners to build workflows and process improvements that result in more reliable, effective people data
- Act as the go-to escalation point for Workday process or configuration issues raised by end users
- Design, configure, test and deploy Workday for functional changes
- Deep knowledge of Workday reporting capabilities and data structure
- Engage with the Workday community to understand system capabilities and recommend solutions to address business needsTrain and mentor other members of the team with the goal of delegating responsibilities
- A passion for People/HR technology
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident as a system consultant to process and program owners
- You enjoy the challenge of delivering quick value while laying the groundwork for long-term scale
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Experience with software development lifecycles and process optimization practices, including agile development, design thinking, customer journey mapping, UX design and testing, process mapping
- Proven ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and priorities and able to pivot when priorities change
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Suite
- 5+ years within or fully supporting HR
- 4+ years of Workday experience
- Prior Workday implementation and understanding of Workday integration technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Experience creating, building, and designing Workday EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Experience mentoring and coaching team and driving process transformation
- Experience working in a fast paced, growth focused company
- Certified in multiple Workday modules (e.g. Benefits, Payroll, Advanced Comp, etc.)
- Agile or Scrum certification
- Workday HCM certification
