About the role

Our People Team strives to create a welcoming and inclusive company culture by driving the overall employee experience at Faire. We are looking for a Manager, People Operations  to join our growing People Team. The ideal candidate has experience managing various HR areas and exhibits patience, critical thinking, and high emotional intelligence.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team that oversee all day-to-day employee life-cycle activities
• Understand our company goals and align our people practices with our business objectives
• Evolve our People Ops processes and programs; understand organizational needs and create & drive processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant with local/state/federal statutes, and are efficient, scalable, and reflect our Faire values
• Provide HR leadership to our teams as it relates to benefits, compliance, immigration and other people programs
• Stay up to date on HR laws and practices where we have employees (payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, leave of absences, etc.)
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local employment law, including but not limited to manager/employee harassment training, workplace postings, and wage laws

About you

• BA/BS degree
• 5-6+ years of HR-related work experience managing teams in a high growth organization
• Experience leading, developing and managing People Ops team members
• Extreme concern for data integrity 
• Desire and natural curiosity to grow in the People field 
• Superior organizational skills
• The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• A willingness work autonomously - to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to raise problems when necessary
• Strong communicator with demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally and strong attention to detail
