Overview

As part of the Employee Experience team, you will play an integral part in introducing new Bolters to our company and culture. In this role, you’ll own the strategic vision of our new hire experience and deliver a world class onboarding program. We will look to you to constantly find ways to improve orientation through research and feedback. Our onboarding experience is currently remote and will potentially move to a hybrid approach in the future; we are seeking a candidate who can present in a virtual environment. Within any given day, you will focus on content management, program management, communicating with stakeholders, and solving logistical issues. You will be reporting directly into our Senior Manager of Learning & Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Bolt New Hire Onboarding program and provide new hires with the tools and skills to ensure their success.
  • Oversee Bolt’s onboarding experience from offer letter to Day 1; partnering with both Talent and People Ops to find new solutions to improve processes.
  • Help define and build an engaging Day 1 - 30 program (inclusive of curriculum, events, and department Q&As) for new hire individual contributors and managers.
  • Partner with Employee Experience/DEI Lead to develop meaningful content based on our Conscious Culture playbook for new hires.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their first 30 days of onboarding.
  • Assist department heads with outlining department-specific and/or role-specific onboarding curriculum.
  • Research and implement learning and onboarding practices.
  • Contribute to special projects and various training and employee events for the Employee Experience team.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 yrs of work experience; preferably in training facilitation and/or instructional design, or recruiting/people operations.
  • Strong program/project management experience with a track record of improving operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitation experience with an ability to foster strong participant feedback.
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion to determine appropriate action.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • If you don’t have the above experience but still think you’d be a good fit, please still apply! We’re open to non-traditional backgrounds as well.
