Payroll and People Ops Administrator
We're hiring a Payroll and People Ops Administrator!

That is why we're seeking a Payroll Administrator who can also assist with HR administration. This role will help bring structure to our payroll process to ensure scalability and proper controls in relationship to Corporate Finance best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Maintains, documents, and reviews payroll process to ensure timely and accurate processing of base pay, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ensures proper deductions for benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
- Works closely with Human Resources and Accounting Departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of local and international payroll updates including new hires, terminations, department/job transfers, pay rate changes, withholdings, and deductions.
- Files payroll-related state registration and maintains existing state accounts.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Supports US and international benefits administration.
- Respond to third-party requests, including unemployment and state disability correspondence, and verifications of employment.
- Manage our employee perks programs, including but not limited to managing external vendors, ridesharing enrollment, and working cross-functionally to manage the onsite health and wellness programs.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of payroll and HR administration experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll-related state registration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (with a focus on Excel).
- Experience with international payroll process (via 3rd party partnership).
- Ceridian and/or NetSuite experience required.
