People Analytics & Research Lead
Overview
Our People Analytics & Research Lead will be a foundational team member who will help build our People Analytics function from the ground up. In this role, you will lead employee listening and end-to-end people research, with an eye to improving our people decisions, processes, and experiences. You will develop research methodologies, conduct complex statistical analyses, partner with cross-functional collaborators, and influence decision-makers. Our People Analytics & Research Lead will have tremendous impact and the opportunity to drive decision-making and change at a high-growth, fast-paced, and innovative company.
About the job
- Develop and lead sophisticated research projects and initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders and business partners. Potential focus areas include (but are not limited to) talent management & acquisition, diversity & inclusion, location strategy, and employee engagement & happiness.
- Deploy experiments, surveys, interventions, behavioral nudges, and other behavioral research methods to derive insights and drive effective decision making.
- Mentor junior teammates and advise on statistical and methodological approaches.
- Develop robust research and data programming and infrastructure, supporting the organization with real time insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, analyze source data and systems, and storytell with data, enabling data-driven, people-focused decision making. Collaborate on strategy for data warehousing, reporting, dashboarding, and self-service people analytics, enabling process improvements at scale.
About you

- Advanced degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in a people analytics or HR analytics role.
- Proven understanding of people and organizational health metrics and people analytics methodologies.
- Experience working with People data (e.g. talent management, engagement, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people data)
- Experience with R or Python, SQL, Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Visier, etc)
- Ability to influence and communicate optimally with all levels of management.
- Self starter, can lead initiatives and drive them to completion.
- Most important of all, you have fun solving People problems!
