About the Role:

BigPanda is seeking an efficient, detail-oriented, creative, and service-oriented People Ops Coordinator to join our People Team. We’re looking for someone who is hyper-organized, proactive about solving problems and improving processes, and is excited about helping the team be efficient and effective. This is a great ground floor opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in People Operations.   

This is a full-time role that reports to our Chief People Officer. This role is remote for now, but candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work from the Mountain View office once safe to do so. 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all recruiting and employee lifecycle processes from recruiting to offboarding. 
  • Support sourcing efforts by using creative methods and multiple channels.
  • Schedule interviews and manage the candidate experience across a variety of roles.
  • Manage candidate travel and reimbursements (once safe to travel). 
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting in all HRIS (BambooHR, Greenhouse) and work with partner orgs to ensure people data flows correctly between systems.
  • Analyze data and advise on improvements to team efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Continuously seek out ways to make our HR processes more streamlined and efficient.
  • Come up with creative ideas for employee events and gifts; coordinate events and team-building activities; maintain inventory of employee swag and newcomer gifts. 
  • Provided support as needed to HR special projects (implementation of tools, rollout of new programs, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as Recruiting Coordinator, HR Admin, or similar role. 
  • Prior experience with HR and Applicant tracking systems required. 
  • Strong communication skills, in particular for written communications
  • Strong Excel / G-sheets experience and capability 
  • Passion for creating an excellent candidate and employee experience
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when communicating with candidates. 
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humor!
  • Team player

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Prior experience in customer service or acting in service to employees.
