About Us

Brightline is on a mission to build a bright future for every child, bringing extraordinary behavioral health care to children and families.

We’re in the middle of a behavioral health crisis that we can’t ignore—especially not when it comes to our children. 1 in every 5 children has a behavioral health condition, yet up to 80% still get little or no help. Far too many families face insurmountable barriers when their child really needs help, and parents are too often left feeling alone and without the support they need. We can do so much better. That’s why we’re here!

Brightline is convening a team of leading coaches, clinicians, technologists, business leaders, and creative thinkers to completely transform what behavioral health care looks like. Together, we’re building exceptional technology and real-world care to bring a warm, supportive, and goal-oriented experience to families. And we’re all here to help children and families thrive.

About the Role

We are looking for a People Operations Manager who has experience as a proven onboarding expert and culture champion on a fast paced People Operations team. This person has experience supporting the employee experience from onboarding through to offboarding while proposing and executing people and culture initiatives along the way. We are looking for a hands-on team member and thought partner (reporting into the Senior Director, People Operations) who enjoys collaborating on various initiatives within and beyond the People Operations team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the employee journey: Support operations from onboarding through to offboarding. Special emphasis on curating and executing a robust, engaging experience for new team members as they join Brightline.
  • Culture ambassador: Serve as a model of culture at Brightline, along with consistently listening to team members, analyzing feedback, and looking for ways to iterate on the employee experience, particularly onboarding.
  • Interface with all: Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with team members to serve as a trusted people resource from team members’ first day and beyond.
  • Learning and Development: Curate content and training programs for our Learning Management System, both during onboarding and for development and growth paths for team members and managers.
  • Tools and systems: Interface with people tools and systems (Culture Amp, Bridge LMS, HRIS) and help roll out new tools and initiatives as we grow.
  • Eye towards automation: Take manual people processes and help create more efficient and scalable processes to support our quickly growing team.

About You

You will thrive at Brightline if you have:

  • 3+ years of People Ops/HR experience
  • A passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families
  • An attention to detail - you know the details matter when creating a stellar employee experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • The drive to be part of building something new - to work hard, to move quickly, to be your best self and to adapt to the constant change and evolution of a start-up.
