The Role

We are seeking a Principal Business Partner to join our people team!  In this critical role, you will be a trusted resource and the go-to partner for employees, managers, and leaders to support and align the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectives with our talent strategies. You will need to quickly understand Addepar's business strategy to ensure you are providing dynamic solutions using data analyses and organizational agility to guide their decision-making. What You’ll Do

  • Be a thought leader and the point of contact for strategic consultation with the business. You will be accountable for leading programs at scale, from needs identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal clients, and in close partnership with our Talent Programs, People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Workplace teams. 
  • Be responsible for helping to strengthen the effectiveness of our people leaders by providing coaching, counsel, and guidance to leaders to further develop their leadership capability, impact, and influence. 
  • You will need to have proven leadership and consulting experience on matters such as  , organizational development, employee coaching and development, as well as performance and talent management, organizational realignment, talent acquisition, retention and reward strategies, and People team program implementation and execution with internal clients.
  • Create a metrics-driven approach to solutions and leverage analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change and to gain sponsorship to drive informed decision-making. 
  • Incorporate complex situations into a digestible, actionable format for business leaders and their teams.
  • Establish yourself as a partner with the business on talent management and initiatives to support dynamic change, org evolution, and employee engagement.
  • Consult on organization design and structure, team development, and building a culture/employee experience that inspires and motivates employees.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of experience in a progressive Business Partner role, with a broad depth of experience in management coaching, organizational design, compensation, employee relations, strategic workforce planning, training, and HR policy and compliance, change/transition management processes, and talent program implementation. 
  • An analytical and critical thinking mindset to determine root cause and synthesize issues and problem statements.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving buy-in from diverse constituencies.
  • Highly skilled in relationship building.
  • Ability to flourish and navigate in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Previous experience supporting geographically dispersed organizations.
  • A high degree of flexibility and creativity, extremely organized and detail-oriented, and excellent interface, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or other related discipline; MA/MS/MBA preferred.
