To this end, we are excited to kick off Zoom’s first Global Emerging Talent Program, which encompasses University and student engagement programs. As we build a brand-new function within Zoom around University and student engagement programs, we are seeking a Contractor Program Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the management, creation and design of our specialized programming for Zoom’s intern and recent graduate workforce. In doing so, you will play many roles: builder, influencer, doer, educator, brand ambassador, recruiter, and analyst. Alongside Zoom’s Global Emerging Talent Program Leader, you will help to build world-class specialized programs at Zoom; which will require a steadfast work ethic. 

Role Responsibilities:

Program Planning & Strategy

  • Design and develop programs such as new grad, apprenticeships, and other specialized programs, ensuring they can efficiently scale to meet the unique and exciting growth here at Zoom.

  • Leverage global best practices to ensure intern and new grad programs are operating at optimum level and are at market standards. 

  • Execution on a comprehensive program (undergraduate, graduate, MBA, Ph.D.)

    strategy, while partnering with various business leaders to determine main growth areas and learnings required; in order to develop a robust new grad program.

  • Create ways to build relationships to formally establish Zoom’s presence and engagement with early-in-career talent, by branding and showcasing our newly built programs.

  • Plan and attend campus events to build relationships with students that are virtual or live once possible.

  • Identify and manage external partnerships with diversity-related organizations. 

  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to create exceptional and structured interview experiences in order to bring the best and brightest to Zoom.

  • Bring in industry best practices and leverage new ideas within Zoom.

  • Utilize global analytics to leverage data and metrics by standardizing reporting for visibility to all aspects of the program to include ROI and overall effectiveness.

  • Partner and influence hiring managers to ensure our new grads are working on cutting-edge work and are provided accelerated experiences.

  • Build additional pieces of the intern program to ensure our interns are learning and growing their skills outside their main project.


Stakeholder Management

  • Develop content and manage the roll-out of stakeholder education, on-campus campaigns, social media plans, etc. to help boost specialized programming efforts. 

  • Build strategic plans around programs and results; then present to leadership teams and other key stakeholders across business functions. Must be comfortable with leadership-level audiences and presentations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in order to coach and implement specialized programming best practices on a global scale. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in Talent Acquisition or related HR field, including a minimum of 5 years leading graduate and other student engagement programs.

  • Must be able to commit to an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

  • BA or BS degree or graduate degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology, or a similar degree in a related field.

  • Global University knowledge and programming experience.

  • Passion for University recruiting and programming, with a drive to create unique and cutting-edge programs.

  • Passion for Zoom’s mission, vision, values, and culture.

  • Organized, resourceful problem-solver, reliable team player, a nimble learner, and demonstrated high attention to detail and follow-through to project completion.

  • Well-versed in University Recruiting with intimate knowledge of what University hires need in order to succeed and thrive.

  • Possesses the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving organization and operate independently.

  • You are proactive in identifying and taking on new projects.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
