The Real-time Workforce Scheduler will take ownership of scheduling activities and alignment of demand to produce, maintain and communicate effective work schedules for care and clinical staff. This includes creating optimal schedules with layered off phone activities like trainings, meetings etc.

Responsibilities

  • Developing work schedules for our care & clinician teams
  • Responsible for generating schedules that are aligned to the forecasted short and long term call/workload demand to the interval level in support of business plans, productivity and Operational objectives.
  • Allocating employees to different duties/shifts
  • Preparing and submitting reports for employee operations such as capacity and coverage
  • Ensure all exceptions are accounted for based on agent availability information as well as optimal business requirements.
  • Handling leave requests from employees
  • Work with payroll to ensure appropriate employee settlement 
  • Assist in scheduling all off-phone activities such as offline work, team meetings, coaching, training etc.
  • Use accuracy of schedule measurements for continuous improvement, including making recommendations to improve scheduling efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 2+ years scheduling experience in a call or service center environment
  • Experience with shift scheduling software
  • Excellent communication skills - especially written
  • Ability to work as part of a team; good interpersonal skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Extremely reliable
  • Excellent time management abilities
