Recruiting Manager
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Recruiting Manager to build, manage and develop a team of recruiters/sourcers that are focused on engineering hiring. In partnership with senior leadership, you will be responsible for planning and executing on recruiting strategies that ensure we are meeting our primary hiring objectives
ABOUT THE JOB
- Cultivate, drive and operationalize recruitment & staffing initiatives in direct partnership with business stakeholders for highly targeted technical competencies such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Infrastructure etc.
- Work closely with recruiting/HR peers and internal client stakeholders to access, analyze and summarize data to shape Instacart’s hiring roadmap.
- Build sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to accelerate hiring.
- Build, manage, and mentor/develop a team of high-performing staff (including recruiting leads) in an extremely fast-paced and iterative environment. As needed, develop training modules and host lunch & learn sessions.
- Reinforce team performance goals/metrics and timelines by leveraging readily available tools to measure and manage progress.
- Help close candidates as needed.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and D&I hiring.
- We are open to considering candidates in virtual locations in the US. Candidates should be prepared for mostly West Coast work hours.
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of recruiting experience
- 2+ years direct people leadership experience
- Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team
- Experience managing dispersed recruiting/sourcing teams
- Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including ATS’, sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets
