Recruiting in most startups is a polarizing role. Attracting and retaining fantastic people is the most important thing we do, yet too often candidates are treated like elements in an array. At Plaid, we care about the experience of every candidate, no matter the outcome. For this reason, our founders ran recruiting themselves for the first few years of Plaid's life. Now we're building a recruiting team that shares this same mentality.

We're building our Recruiting Operations team to help create consistencies in our processes, improve team efficiency, and allow for scaling. We're looking for an analytical and results-driven program manager who will lead programs to improve operational efficiency, data-driven decision making, and guide change management across the organization. You'll build structure into our processes and work with the recruiting leadership team to provide the analytical support needed to inform strategic directions. 

What you'll do

  • Work with the recruiting leadership team to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
  • Audit our workflows and reporting methodologies for reliable reporting
  • Establish our data collection methodology and build recruiting dashboards for metrics, pipeline models, data visualization, and business reporting (we’re using Periscope!)
  • Oversee the meta-stages of our recruiting process and the documentation and workflows. Increase the team's workstreams, processes and documentation
  • Ensure the foundational infrastructure of process, tools, systems, and frameworks make our Recruiting team more predictable, efficient and scalable

  • Experience with Data visualization and presentations
  • A passion for shipping high-quality products
  • Evidence of leading cross-functional projects, handling all aspects of program management from planning, coordination, communication, and execution 
  • Framework for prioritization and weighing tradeoffs
