What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to report to the Director of Total Rewards at the Company’s headquarters in Mountain View, CA (note that the role is temporarily remote). This position will be part of the People Operations team, administering compensation programs, driving benchmarking and using data in creative ways to optimize compensation effectiveness. 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate jobs and analyze base salaries and incentive plans for external competitiveness, internal equity, and legal compliance. 
  • Manage salary survey participation and make recommendations to enhance pay competitiveness and pay fairness.
  • Source and use data to reinforce and test compensation philosophy
  • Administer compensation planning including but not limited to merit, company bonus and equity refresh
  • Influence the HRIS for optimal compensation planning experience.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to assist in understanding geographical (Israel, EMEA and APJ) nuances in compensation practices
  • Steward the company’s compensation guidelines, including equity guidelines by ensuring they’re up to date and properly accessible
  • Partner with Legal and Director of Total Rewards in creating the grant table for new hire grants and prepare for Board approval 
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in a data-focused role and 3+ years of experience in a compensation role. Background in finance, a public company and/or background in consulting is a plus
  • BS Degree in business administration, human resources, math or related field required or equivalent years of experience
  • Strong Excel modeling skills required, including ability to understand and trace complex formulas, and comfort with functions such as SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP and with pivot tables. Familiarity with macros or App Scripts is a plus
  • Knowledge of international compensation practices
  • Proven analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong documentation skills (i.e. note taking)
  • Experience with Radford, Mercer or Aon survey data required 
  • Workday knowledge and experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience with the administration and design of compensation plans and programs
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
