The Senior Director of People is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource and talent function. We’re seeking an experienced executive to join our leadership team to help scale our fast-growing organization while continuing to build a world-class people organization. Reporting to the CEO you'll be excited about overseeing a broad set of people-focused initiatives that embody our core values and ensure Reciprocity remains a company where exceptional team members can perform their best work. 

What you will get to do:

  • You will use your strategic, hands-on leader experience where you can successfully build and lead a high performing People Ops organization
  • Ensure increasing returns to scale of Team OKRs (we have a goal oriented culture)
  • Ensure our already very strong positive culture gets even better as we scale our Collaborative, Gritty, Scrappy, Customer Focused and Winning attitude.
  • Help us continue to transform the way Reciprocity reaches our business objectives by ensuring that all employees are as engaged, involved, and as motivated as possible.
  • Manage facilities as an integral element of the employee experience. Ensure that the facility provides a safe, comfortable and positive work environment. Ensure that employee requests and needs are handled promptly and with empathy
  • Oversee the entire employee experience including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, staffing strategy and more.
  • Leads the design, development, and rollout of global and regional HR programs.
  • Use a consultative approach and be a business partner to the CEO and executive org; serve on the executive team
  • Cost-benefit and workforce and succession analysis/planning as we scale, including subsidiaries in international locations and assess the risk levels in growing teams.
  • Oversee all People & Culture related programming that makes Reciprocity an amazing place to work; promoting our culture manifesto and values
  • Report to the executive team and board on key metrics across HR, talent, and facilities functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters in HR, Business Management or Communication highly preferred
  • SPHR certification preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources and Talent (Facilities experience is a plus)
  • 5+ years managing HR, talent, and facilities teams as well as dispersed, global teams
  • A track record of scaling high growth software startups from series A to C.
  • Experience scaling a company from 100 to 300+ employees required
  • Has created and maintained a culture that employees are inspired by and proud of
  • Has designed frameworks and systems (total rewards, HRMS, talent management, etc.) that meet the needs of a rapidly changing and growing company
  • Served as a member of a senior executive team and effectively been a trusted advisor and partner to leaders at all levels as they build, align, energize and retain their high performing organizations
  • Experience helping employees and managers develop by providing learning experiences, mentorship, and guidance
  • Confident, professional, and effective communicator (both verbally and in written form) that can work with all levels (including the board) and departments in an organization and get his/her point across in a concise, articulate, and congenial way.
