We're currently in search of a strategic and operational leader to design and build a competitive global compensation program. In this high-impact role, you will partner with our Executive Team to determine our compensation philosophy. Further, you will partner with the rest of the People, Talent Acquisition, and Finance Team to anchor that philosophy with competitive and scalable programs and practices. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Team and People Leadership team to design a company-wide compensation philosophy.
  • Build our long-term compensation and equity strategy roadmap.
  • Determine the methodology, practices, and resources to enable our compensation strategy.
  • Partner with Sales Ops to develop and document sales compensation plan mechanics and policies.
  • Build and maintain a scalable job architecture.
  • Partner with Finance to determine market, merit, and promo budgets.
  • Manage job leveling, salary surveys, and market analysis in order to make comprehensive recommendations.
  • Work closely with Business Partners and Recruiters on offers, promotions, transfers as an internal consultant on all aspects of compensation.
  • Partner with the People Programs team to drive employee compensation communication and education strategies.
  • Design and manage annual compensation reviews, including planning, analysis, and auditing.
  • Partner with stock admin on equity strategy, including burn rate, overhang and dilution analyses.
  • Build internal tools and resources to manage compensation decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of compensation experience, ideally across multiple companies of various sizes and stages, both private and public.
  • Deep understanding of stock options, RSUs, and other equity offerings.
  • Experience building and running compensation programs globally in a start-up.
  • Expertise in using Radford data and other data sources for best-in-class benchmarking.
  • Analytically driven, with fluidity in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Clear communications, able to bridge a big picture vision and a tactical plan that our employees understand at the lowest level of detail.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills including statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Deep experience evaluating and managing online salary management tools.
  • Ability to consult and influence C-level Executives.
  • Strong business acumen, financially astute, and detail oriented.
  • Roll up your sleeves mentality, as this is a leadership position but will still be involved in individual contributor work.
  • Collaborative and consultative approach with every team member no matter what level.
  • Deep knowledge of the legal environment and help guarantee adherence with all applicable legs and regs.
  • You are flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, organized and detail oriented.
