Senior HR Business Partner

Trifacta, Inc. is looking for a transformative Senior HR Operations Business Partner located in San Francisco, CA to help drive an outstanding experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This is a unique role and the successful candidate will enjoy straddling both operational and strategic work. They will be equally skilled in project/program management as they are directly partnering with the organization and its leaders. The right person for the role is scrappy and creative and isn’t afraid to get into the details. This role is a critical role to help us take the HR function to a new level with a focus on employee experience, efficiency, and quality delivery. This position reports to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and execution of key HR programs, including timelines and communication plans, to ensure high quality delivery.

  • Manage day to day HR Operations needs in the areas of onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, employee data and records, terminations, and other HR related needs related to operations, compliance and the employee lifecycle.

  • Support scalable HR operational processes and HR programs for our global organization, and liaise with our HR Managers in Germany and India.

  • Serve as a key contributor on all aspects of HR Operations using expert knowledge and experience to diagnose gaps and opportunities and convert that knowledge into effective and efficient business solutions.

  • Manage and support adoption & use of HR systems, such as GoogleHire, ADP, and Lattice.

  • Work within our HRIS and HR tech systems, navigating within the system to ensure data accuracy , and the managing of key HR programs such as compensation management and performance management.

  • Partner with our US and Non-US vendor partners, as well as legal partners to ensure and oversee successful operations and compliance with all regulatory items across the global organization, including 401k, equity, and GDPR.

  • Oversee the relationship with our outsourced HR vendor partner ( Melita ) who is responsible to deliver our US benefits, US compliance and US HR operational needs.

  • Own the global compensation strategy (cash & equity), including educating managers and partnering with recruiters in the areas of compensation proposals, offer approval processes, and candidate offer letters.

  • Partner with the employee population, from the CEO to individual contributors, acting as an advisor on all above programs and initiatives.

  • Resolve employee inquiries and support on employee relations as needed, in compliance with local law globally and company policies.

There is a high likelihood to contribute or lead even more complex projects with the people team as we continue to scale the business (L&D, Employer Branding, International HR, Total Rewards)


Requirements:

We value diversity, ability, and experience. For this critical position, we expect:

  • 7+ years of HRBP experience, preferably with a background in operations.

  • Direct experience designing, implementing, and managing HR programs and initiatives.

  • Experience with HR Systems required (bonus points for ADP but not required).

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong internal client facing skills and a flexible communication style.

  • Ability to self manage and work in an unstructured environment with exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.

  • Ability to manage complex operational processes, staying organized and resilient.

  • Ability to manage many conflicting priorities in a high-growth, startup environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with capability to process high amount of data and ask the right questions to drive work forward.

  • High level of accuracy in work and a natural attention to detail.

  • Agile learner who is not afraid to stretch and can effortlessly switch between handling operational work and also driving strategic projects.

Bonus Points: Preferred if you have experience in any of the following:

  • International HRBP/HR Operations experience.

  • Proficiency in Google Apps (particularly Sheets)
