The Senior Manager, People Operations is an experienced, business-oriented people leader who is eager to drive innovative processes and insights that will ensure that we are building an exceptional employee experience for all Omadans. 

This role is critical to delivering a consistently amazing experience for all Omadans. You will oversee our People Operations team and have the opportunity to deep-dive into people process, policy and programs to develop and execute innovative improvement ideas for today and the future.

Success in this role is not just checking the box on a long task list, but getting to the “so what” and directing efforts to make sure we set the right foundation for our People & Culture team, partner functions, and ultimately the organization as a whole.

About you:

  • 5+ years experience in HR and People Operations, preferably in a start-up environment 
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proven track record of implementing and scaling people processes, operations and systems
  • Excellent project management skills - ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at one time
  • Execution focused, very organized and extremely detail oriented 
  • Advanced knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws and best practices 
  • Experience with HRIS (Paylocity and / or Workday preferred), LMS and performance management software
  • Exceptional communication skills and comfortable talking with stakeholders from across the organization and across all levels
  • Demonstrated experience building effective relationships with employees, managers, and other peers
  • Proven ability to take initiative, think on your feet, and make thoughtful fast decisions

Your impact:

  • Oversee the People Operations team and the development and management of thoughtful and scalable people policies and processes that shape the employee experience and are compliant, efficient, scalable, and reflect our Omada values 
  • Plan and manage the expansion and/or implementation of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, LMS, etc.) ensuring high quality data, reporting and analytics, and business insights
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws and industry best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws 
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to drive cross-functional participation and collaboration 
  • Lead our immigration policies and programs, in partnership with legal counsel and recruiting 
  • Enhance and execute a people tech roadmap that will help provide simple, scalable, experiences throughout the employee lifecycle 
  • Gather and analyze data to track and report on performance of our people initiatives and identify areas for enhancement and improvement
