The people team at PagerDuty is growing! We are on the search for our first ever Sr. Manager, Talent Development. Inclusion, Diversity and Equity is at the core of who we are and how we operate at PagerDuty. As we continue to scale, we are on the search for a leader who is passionate about facilitation and execution of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity manager and employee learning experiences, monitor measurement, status, and scalability of the experience. This leader will elevate the Performance Experience at PagerDuty through managing the experience and the program by partnering with HR business parters and People Ops to execute the Performance Experience change management, activities, learning, and communications. Additionally they will own process improvement and evolving PagerDuty's career and competency development (career architectures, Modern Leadership Competency Model, Leadership Playbook) refresh and roll-out across the organization. How You Impact Our Vision
- You will own the strategy and execution of the Performance Experience (i.e., goal setting, talent assessment, and performance management) vertical by scaling experience, process, and activities in a virtual and digital environment for a global workforce
- Partner and collaborate with the Sr. Director of T&OD, HRBPs, the People & Places function and department leadership to scale our leadership certification development program “Shields of Duty”; performance experience, and ID&E employee learning experiences across all levels of the organization
- Assist with organizational change efforts in parallel with shifts/pivots in workplace culture and adapt strategy, process and experiences to align with business initiatives and priorities
- Build trusting relationships with leaders and employees across the organization through effective communication, making yourself approachable and accessible, actively soliciting feedback and striving for stakeholder buy-in to reach decisions, iterate on ideas, and move with speed to enhance the employee experience
- Utilize data, external research and leader and employee feedback to identify opportunities where the Talent Development function can improve and optimize talent, engagement, and learning solutions.
About You

- Leads projects with a collaborative spirit and organized discipline and approaches project execution by anticipating the needs of stakeholders, driving commitment from owners, and focuses end to end delivery letting nothing fall through the cracks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high comfort level of presenting at an executive level; and can balance building trust to initiate and navigate challenging conversations and conflicts
- Ability to manage and coach others and create a strong system of support, encouragement, and safety for your teamPossesses the business, L&D, and ID&E acumen
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in HR with expertise in talent management, learning and development, performance management, onboarding and employee experience
- 3+ years in a role specifically responsible for multiple aspects of talent development (certifications, leadership development, etc.) at a large and/or rapidly scaling company
- 1+ year of experience designing and delivering content related to ID&E
