WHAT WE DO (The team)

We are looking for a dynamic People Business Partner to support Senior Leaders and Managers in a fast paced organization that is connecting consumers, merchants, and Postmates in real time. As a strategic partner across multiple key departments, such as Brand Marketing & Strategy, Corporate Business Development and Legal, you are able to move seamlessly between a variety of priorities. You also bring deep experience with scaling day to day HR processes and procedures, as well as adapting them as needed for your client groups. The right candidate is self-motivated, familiarizes themselves with the business priorities and is able to recommend and action HR solutions that align with those business priorities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support talent management programs which enable a healthy culture and positive employee experience.
  • Partner with and advise business leadership on people-related strategy and decisions including organizational health and design, planning and compensation.
  • Develop programs and processes to build and retain high performing teams and develop strong and effective people leaders.
  • Provide expertise with planning, execution and facilitation of employee relations efforts. 
  • Use people analytics to anticipate issues or opportunities and bring data-driven solutions that influence business outcomes.
  • Support improvement in key employee performance metrics, including Employee Engagement, Internal Mobility, Regrettable Losses and Manager Capability.
  • Support successful organizational change and help coach managers and teams to be successful at adopting and adapting to change.
  • Partner with other HR functions to develop and deliver value-added solutions to management and employees.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement).

OUR REQUIREMENTS 

  • 10+ years of HR or equivalent business experience, with at least 3 years of People Business Partner experience within a high-growth environment. 
  • Strong strategic skills and the ability to move seamlessly from strategic to tactical.
  • Passion for understanding how diversity is key to a company’s success and proven success working with diversity partners.
  • Knowledge and experience with change management, organizational design, strategic communications, team dynamics, and coaching.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement and performance management best practices.
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally and successfully influence management, as well as coach and counsel at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to support key People initiatives in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written, communication and influencing skills, especially with senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Ability to create, tailor and discuss presentations & internal studies/ data, requiring above average knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, GSuite applications, and other relevant office / HRIT tools or systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
