The Opportunity at Komodo Health


Komodo Health is looking for a Senior People Partner based in SF to support our Customer (Sales, Customer Success…) and Marketing teams. It will be your role to create and execute on People Partnering initiatives to drive results for Komodo Health. You will be on the front line working closely with business leaders to be able to provide hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice with respect to employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, change management, organizational design training and more. You’re comfortable speaking up, asking hard questions, and driving initiatives forward despite any unexpected roadblocks.


After 3 months, you will…

  • Establish collaborative working relationships and communication cadence with all executive leaders and managers across your client groups 
  • Partner with Customer and Marketing leadership to identify approaches that increase the effectiveness and alignment of our multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assess the needs of your client groups and develop an action plan to support the priority areas of focus
  • Develop a process and methodology to engage client groups in capability planning, identifying the needed capabilities and skills sets to scale their teams 
  • Implement 1-2 trainings that support the effectiveness of managers across your client groups


In the first year you will accomplish: 

  • Through the trainings and programs you implement, managers across your client groups will report increased effectiveness in their coaching, management and development of their teams
  • Manager Effectiveness scores will trend positive with 1:1 leadership coaching between the People Partner and clients groups
  • You will have proactively contributed to and led discussions on organizational design and change within your client groups, including supporting leaders through implementation and change management 
  • You will have partnered with leaders to create development pathways for their team members that enhances the needed capabilities for grown 
  • Your client groups will report increased company alignment and communication while navigating change and growth 
  • Your client groups will report that their managers demonstrate behaviors that align with our Komodo values


What You Bring to Komodo 

  • Experience as a Senior HR/People Business Partner, preferably in a high-growth tech startup environment
  • Experience supporting and coaching C-suite executives and management teams across multiple locations
  • Experience personally leading and influencing key components of People Partnering: Organizational design, change management, manager coaching/development, compensation and employee relations
  • Experience facilitating coaching and development discussions/trainings with managers
  • Familiarity working in a fast paced, high performance culture where the business is constantly evolving
  • Collaborative, thoughtful leadership with nimble navigation across strategic and operational realities
  • An ability to simplify complex concepts, processes and communications
  • Team player and can-do attitude
  • Experience with and ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, proactively suggesting long-term solutions
