As our Business teams in the US scale to 200 employees across three offices, we need a Senior People Partner to help us build a workplace that’s as collaborative and effective as Miro is to use. Supported by a well-established People Team, the Senior People Partner will advise, consult and support executives from Sales, Marketing, and Operations on all matters to do with the engagement and productivity of their teams. It is an opportunity to build an exceptional practice of data-based business partnering, directly manage US people programs team-members, and strengthen a truly engaged company to help bring Miro to the world.

Reporting to our Head of People, you’ll be joining the leadership team of our 25-person global function. You’ll work closely with People specialists in both our continuous improvement-based “Excellence Team” and our design methodology-driven “Solutions Team”. In addition, you will partner with executives with strong backgrounds in highly engaged, hypergrowth firms, who are looking for your leadership.

What you’ll do

  • Provide strategic partnership and counsel to executives and managers in Marketing, Sales, Success, Operations, and People functions
  • Be a coach, confidant and advocate for employees in need
  • Support partnering functions through all central People processes including compensation, talent development, performance management, employee relations, change management, succession planning
  • Develop a tracking model of team productivity and engagement that integrates survey, performance, and interview data from a range of systems and perspectives 
  • Manage our current US people programs team 
  • Coach and develop new managers in partnering functions
  • Act as a cultural role model and facilitate the three US offices to invest in cultural rituals, processes, and events

What you'll need

  • At least four years of HRBP experience, including working with function leads
  • Experience scaling a high-growth company 
  • Ability to consult with executives
  • Empathy with employees and the ability to monitor sensitive issues
  • Operational knowledge of people processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Ability to source and analyze qualitative and quantitative people data to inform people decisions
  • Process design skills (objective setting, prototyping, iteration etc)
  • Training & facilitation skills
