Senior Total Rewards Analyst
About the Role
NextRoll is seeking an experienced Total Rewards Analyst. The role will have responsibility for program administration on all things related to US benefits and compensation. You will be a key player in the day-to-day operations of the Total Rewards team as well as providing support for long-term strategic rewards and benefits projects.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards, the Senior Total Rewards Analyst will support the administration and management of NextRoll’s US benefits and compensation programs. As an integral member of the Total Rewards team, you’ll have an opportunity to enhance and develop our global total rewards strategy to ensure competitiveness. You will be involved with both the benefits and compensation programs at NextRoll ranging from administration of our RollWell program, which brings well-being events to our employees to providing recommendations on job offers and conducting salary analyses using market data.
Responsibilities:
- Execute day to day operations for US benefits programs: medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, COBRA, 401k, discount perk, RollWell
- Monitor monthly benefit invoices to ensure accuracy of enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Drive regular reporting of utilization of benefit programs
- Stay up-to-date with applicable compliance-related federal, state, and city statutory requirements regarding employee benefits, pay and employer obligations
- Analyze market data to evaluate the competitiveness of our benefit and compensation programs
- Prepare data for non-discrimination testing, 401k audit, etc.
- Partner with department leaders, People Business Partners and recruiters to address compensation related matters such as offers, promotions, and internal transfers
- Assist in the administration of the annual merit and mid-year review cycles
- Submit data for participation in annual compensation and benefits surveys
- Partner with People Operations to integrate benefits content into employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers) materials
- Ad hoc financial modeling of new program considerations or changes to existing programs
- Manage US leave of absences
- Support with onsite and remote RollWell events
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in benefits and/or compensation (minimum of 2 years of compensation experience)
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with compensation surveys and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and strong prioritization skills
- Can work successfully both independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and utilize appropriate tact and professionalism
- Knowledge of federal and state legislation and compliance requirements (e.g, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with a benefit administration system preferred (e.g. BeneTrac)
- Experience with a 401k administration system preferred (e.g. Empower)
- CEBS, CBP, CCP or other equally relevant designation
- Google suite experience
