Sr. Compensation Partner
We are currently seeking a strategic Compensation Partner to join our team. As part of the People, Places and Learning group at Udemy and reporting to our Senior Director of People Operations, you will own our global compensation practice. This role requires someone committed to excellence who is inspired by our company’s mission to Improve Lives Through Learning.
What you'll be doing :
- Execute a global compensation strategy that optimizes pay practices across all geographies in which we operate including base salary, equity, bonus, commissions and other incentive plans that support company goals and objectives.
- Leverage local and international data sources to perform regular market pay analysis.
- Make recommendations for updates to the current compensation plan.
- Partner closely with People Partners, Recruiters, Benefit Partners and leaders within the organization to support decision making related to compensation programs, including, but not limited to, modeling, project planning, communications and training.
- Review and approve all new hire offers to ensure consistency in execution of compensation plan and fairness in compensation practices.
- Through partnerships with other groups, optimize Workday, Syndio and other HR technology to support our bi-annual Total Rewards cycles.
- Support organizational change management and other special projects as needed.
We're excited about you because you'll have:
- 7+ years of experience in global compensation program planning and execution. Preferably in a high growth - international company.
- BA/BS degree preferredCertified Compensation Professional certification preferred
- Proven experience conducting global pay market analysis and building out global compensation plans
- Familiarity with compliance/legal aspects of compensation planning and execution
- Excellent analytical and research skillsExceptionally detail oriented while remaining focused on the big picture
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required
- Effective project management, time management and organization skills
