The Role
As our business continues to grow, a position has become available within our organization. As a Senior Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, you will hold an integral position in the team, being responsible for Afterpay's global initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders both internally and externally to Afterpay and at a regional and global level. This position is full time and permanent to be based in our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
-Bring thought leadership and champion DE&I strategies and initiatives for our global employee community and embed DE&I into the fabric of our company culture
-Partner with our global Talent Acquisition Team, Hiring Managers and Interview Teams to build effective diversity sourcing and selection strategies for our diverse community of talent and provide an inclusive candidate experience
-Design and lead global DE&I strategies and initiatives to enhance our global employee experience
-Work cross functionally with our Communications & Marketing Teams to provide DE&I expertise to embed inclusion into strategic initiatives
-Engage and partner with our Culture Club ERG on DE&I initiatives aligned with Afterpay’s Strategic Pillars and Values
-Partner across the global Leadership Team and People Team to build measurable DE&I action plans and scorecards across the business
-Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) in building DE&I content across our L&D ecosystem
-Forge strategic DE&I partnerships to enhance Talent Acquisition, L&D and Culture Initiatives
-Stay connected within the DE&I professionals, networks, and academic communities to learn and share best practices and innovations
Qualifications
-A passionate subject matter expert to partner with us to build a globally diverse and inclusive employee and customer community
-A dedicated DE&I subject matter expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience driving this important work across global teams
-A leader who has demonstrated success in building diverse and inclusive high performing teams
-Enthusiastic about being a team player and leading by example
-Demonstrated success in building from scratch and knowing when to jump from tactical to strategic efforts
-Experience designing and/or facilitating educational programs or workshops
-Demonstrated success in developing and leading ERG strategies aligned to company strategic pillars and values
-Ability to influence strategic leaders and shift mindsets
-A bias for action
-BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
