Sr. Payroll Administrator

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Payroll Administrator will report to the Payroll Manager and will support US Payroll in all duties associated with the accurate and timely processing of the bi-weekly payroll. This role will partner closely with various areas of the business on payroll-related matters in order to provide a best-in-class payroll and benefits experience. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Own full-cycle processing of US bi-weekly payroll. Responsibilities include: Validation of new hire data, processing leaves and terminations, data entry and file imports (commissions, bonuses, etc.), review and validation of timecard entries.
- Process payroll withholdings on stock-based compensation transactions.
- Monitor and respond to payroll matters raised by employees in a timely and thorough manner.
- Maintain payroll checklist and reconcile payroll input to the payroll master file.
- Ascertain data integrity of all inputs into the payroll system, as well as the flow of data outbound to downstream benefit platforms.
- Apply for tax IDs for new jurisdictions and maintain tax information using ADP SmartCompliance.
- Manage multi-state tax withholding and compliance, as well as processing tax adjustments.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience processing multi-state payroll required
- Proficiency with ADP WorkforceNow required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with intermediate skills in Excel including VLOOKUP, if functions, pivot tables, etc. desired
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll taxes desired
- Experience operating in a SOX compliant environment desired
- Ability to maintain data confidentiality with a strong sense of professional integrity
- Ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with all levels of the business
- Strong commitment to customer service and ability to communicate concisely, both in writing and verbally
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
