As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will partner with your client groups to attract and source great technical candidates and facilitate their journey to becoming outstanding new hires at GRAIL. This will require you to be consultative, creative, collaborative and results-oriented in your approach.
You will
- In partnership with business leaders and People partners, develop and execute immediate and long-term hiring strategies to meet GRAIL's business objectives
- Build a pipeline of top technical and scientific talent through researching and sourcing for candidates
- Create a unique and memorable candidate experience
- Contact and engage candidates, leading their experience throughout the process
- Qualify candidates for technical and team fit
- Lead and drive full-cycle recruitment process including interview, feedback, decision making, negotiations, and offer process
- Stay abreast of relevant news in the biotech, tech, and startup space
- Utilize, update and maintain Talent Acquisition tools and systems (e.g. Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Special projects as assigned
Your background should include
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing for highly technical positions; related work experience in a search firm or in-house recruiting with technical sourcing experience focusing on Machine Learning, DevOps, Security, Software Engineers, etc.
- Proven experience with sourcing skills through tool use and techniques (search techniques include Boolean, X-ray, LinkedIn, etc)
- Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and meeting deadlines
- Resourcefulness, self-sufficiency, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are highly valued
- Great understanding and now how to balance getting things done quickly with getting things done
- Experience with Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Excellent sourcing, interviewing, negotiating and communication skills required
- Team player with a thoughtful mindset and great sense of humor
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Exceptional customer service skills
