Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.


We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Operations Manager to help us scale the infrastructure of our global Talent Acquisition (TA) team. Atlassian continues to grow and this will be a phenomenal opportunity to create real impact! You'll be a senior leader within our TA team, Reporting into the Global Head of Enablement, Talent Acquisition.


You will be the functional subject matter leader for all of the TA team's operational activities related to process efficiencies and tools, workflows, hiring planning, as well as the delivery of recruitment analytics/metrics. You will observe and untangle the process of integrated work and teamwork between the Talent Acquisition Team and the multiple partners with whom they collaborate. In doing so, you'll help amplify efficiency and connections. BUT, you won't do this alone: you'll have the full support of our team to ensure that you are set up for success!

We're seeking someone who proactively seeks new opportunities of improvement, who can lead multiple work-streams at the same time and can pinpoint challenges ahead of time that will enable your team to find the right solutions.


Here's how you’ll likely operate:

Understand how we operate today and re-build with scale in mind: Build upon our existing ways of operating in crafting the future of TA Operations and Candidate Experience.

Optimization is your default: Optimizing the systems, tools, and processes that create consistent, efficient, and equitable hiring outcomes.

A natural at building compelling narratives with data. Collaborating with our TA Analytics team efficiently review, analyze, and communicate data and metrics to generate meaningful insights.

Role model Atlassian’s values: Be a trusted leader on the People team that will support the growth and development of your team, as well as the broader function.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • A background in Recruiting Operations or Human Resources
  • Familiarity with relevant tools, programs and software (e.g., applicant tracking systems, service desk systems)
  • A passion for detail
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Experience developing process workflows and the documentation to support.
  • Excellent quantitative analytical skills - telling a story with data.
  • The ability to switch from strategic problem solver to steadfast executer.
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate remotely with other team members and partners in a high-pace environment
  • Expertise at building consensus and arriving at conclusions with broad ownership and buy-in
  • Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
  • Global experience, incorporating the needs from a spectrum of geographies and markets.
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong senior relationships
  • Validated successes leading operational improvements and change management
