This position will work closely with our Director of Talent and impact teams and functions across the organization. We conduct recruiting in a thoughtful and transparent way at Human API. We lead with empathy, work efficiently, and are intentional in providing warm and exceptional candidate experiences.
What you'll do
- Manage the ins and outs of full-cycle recruiting, including writing job descriptions, running kick off meetings, screening, extending offers, and everything in between.
- Exercise creativity by building strong pipelines, using a variety of channels, such as proactive sourcing, generating referrals, attending events, and nurturing your own network.
- Build healthy, trusting relationships with candidates, hiring managers, interview teams and external partners.
- Continually evaluate and improve all aspects of our hiring process from a DEI lens with the support and guidance of our DEI Committee.
- Guide and support candidates through our process and help us build an equally awesome onboarding experience.
- Identify and lead new projects and initiatives for the Talent team, exploring and stretching your skill set into other areas of HR, based on business needs and your interests.
About you
- At least 2+ years of experience in recruiting or sourcing for an early stage, SaaS company
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and building strong candidate pipelines
- Strong people skills and practiced at exercising empathy, thoughtful communication, and transparency
- Organized - seriously - not letting people slip through the cracks is key to a great pipeline and a great experience
- Strong sense of accountability, urgency, curiosity, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated passion for learning and a growth mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and using new technologies - some of ours are Lever, LinkedIn, and Gem.
