Why Divvy?

At Divvy Homes, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more flexible, more affordable, and an all-around better fit for today’s American family – and it’s working.

We are building recruiting in-house at Divvy and hiring our first two recruiters (tech & non-tech) to help us define and drive this function. If you’re passionate about building what great looks like and advising our business partners on how to build best in class teams, we want to hear from you. You can expect high impact and wide-ranging responsibility: owning full-cycle recruiting, creating and streamlining processes, educating our partners, driving hiring strategy, and delivering best-in-class candidate experience. You should thrive in an ambiguity, be unafraid to try new things, and welcome suggestions for how we can iterate on our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of tech (eng, data science, product design, product) recruiting, from sourcing through offer/close
  • Proactively solves complex issues with stakeholders and shares the best methods with manager and team
  • Considers wholistic data that underpins hiring decisions and strategizes accordingly
  • Effectively interprets metrics analytics to build process improvements (e.g. high conversion ratios)
  • Confidently handles objections from candidates and business and is a diplomatic and confident advisor to all parties involved
  • Deeply understands the businesses they support and advises on team structure, leveling, and potential implications of a hire
  • Builds an inclusive and objective hiring process and ensures that candidate is assessed against the appropriate competencies
  • Help initiate creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy
  • Autonomously develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies across teams
  • Is an active mentor to other members of the team and is able to effectively ramp new joiners to be effective in their jobs

Requirements

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment, minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience at an agency and recruiting in house
  • At least 2 years of tech recruiting experience
  • Experience interpreting data and using it to influence hiring decisions
  • Has partnered with a wide variety of clients, including senior level business leaders and seasoned professional candidates
  • Has experience hiring in an organization focused on cultivating a diverse workforce
  • A growth mindset and truly flexible. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change (At a fast-growing startup, they often do)

Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Divvy Homes is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We enthusiastically encourage individuals from a variety of lived experiences to reach out.
