About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced in-house, full-cycle, Technical Recruiter to pioneer recruiting at TaskRabbit and help grow our team. You'll be working on building a team of resourceful, motivated people who are passionate about our mission. You'll help manage the hiring process from interview to offer as well as represent the company through screenings and candidate sourcing. You will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and have an opportunity to make your mark and define the recruiting function at TaskRabbit.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product and Data leadership to deeply understand their teams and hiring needs
  • Own the recruiting cycle from end to end, spanning all areas and disciplines and build robust recruiting strategies
  • Take a data driven strategy to provide insights into the health of the hiring pipeline, provide direction, and training to stakeholders
  • Drive offer process - including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
  • Actively engage in diversity and inclusion hiring strategies
  • Develop creative strategies to convert passive leads to active candidates

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Technical or Product Recruiting experience in a corporate or inhouse environment. Preferably in a high growth environment supporting multiple hiring teams
  • Experience working Understanding of recruiting metrics and how to utilize them to influence hiring decisions
  • Proven strategic technical sourcer 
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast paced, start-up and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing top talent
  • Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness
  • Self-motivated and ability to self-direct
  • Experience and fluency of technically knowledgeable to conduct initial phone screens and calibrate against job descriptions
