The Role
Step is looking for an experienced Technical Sourcer to join as our first sourcing hire to lead sourcing efforts for a variety of roles across engineering. Hiring amazing talent is one of the most important areas for the entire company and this is a unique opportunity to join our recruiting team at an early stage. Responsibilities
- Own sourcing across various pipelines for mobile engineering, full-stack, backend, data science, security, and other specialized software engineering roles
- Partner with the engineering leadership team to source technical talent across a variety of channels and tools to engage talent
- Create white-glove candidate experiences for all candidates that engage in the recruiting process
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with passive top talent
- Own research and industry market mapping
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience working in a dynamic, fast-growing company
- Experience working directly with hiring managers to help with sourcing, build passive referral lists, and collaborate on reachout strategy
- Care deeply about the experience of every candidate, no matter the outcome
- Passionate to get to know each candidate's background and motivations to align with company hiring needs
- Sweat the details to master your craft in recruiting
- Collaborate well as a partner to hiring managers across engineering
- Experience with successful diversity programs is highly preferred
