The People team is looking for a University Recruiter to establish Next as a first choice employer among top colleges. In this role you will lead engagement with universities to deliver strategic programs to support recruiting. Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team, you’ll use metrics to drive decisions and show results, and remain calm in times of high stress and volume! What You’ll Do: 

  • Act as the owner of Next’s University Recruiting program; guide/deliver overall strategy, design/carry out engagement projects, and execute an innovative year round plan  
  • Partner with People and Talent Acquisition teams to create effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates from top universities through proactive market research & ongoing relationship management
  • Establish and maintain solid cooperative relations with top university faculties, labs, career centers, top talents and research associations 
  • Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, the continued evolution of the University recruitment initiative, and deliver the highest quality results and candidate experiences


What We Need: 

  • 3+ years full lifecycle university recruiting experience with top US schools with awareness of overall higher education recruiting landscape 
  • Knowledge of and experience working with and navigating top engineering, product, design, research, machine learning and data programs at universities
  • Demonstrable experience of setting strategic goals & metrics in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage university relations & the ability to work cross-functionally and effectively with a diverse team 
  • Strong strategic and creative thinker who can distill business strategy into effective recruitment and actionable plans
  • BA/BS from top school

Our headquarter office is located in the College Terrace neighborhood in the city of Palo Alto, California and near all the local eateries on California Ave. We also have offices in Rochester, NY and Boston, MA.
