Quizlet’s mission is to help students (and their teachers) practice and master whatever they are learning. Every month more than 50 million active learners from 130 countries practice and master more than 300 million study sets on every conceivable topic and subject. We are developing new learning experiences by modeling how students learn and drawing upon knowledge acquisition, retention, and pedagogy in cognitive science. We are always seeking to help students master any subject by optimizing study efficiency and engagement.

Quizlet offers an exciting 2020 Summer Internship Program beginning June - September. Our program is a 10-week paid internship that focuses on enabling students to advance their professional preparation through work experience, professional development, and mentorship. We have a fun summer planned for you with several events and workshops. You will work on real projects, features, and updates that will contribute to Quizlet and impact our 50 million+ users.

We're looking for: 

This internship is with Quizlet’s new Advertising team. This group is responsible for ideating, developing and marketing advertising solutions at Quizlet. In this role you will help Sales effectively describe, position and communicate the benefits of Quizlet’s value proposition, the unique audience and ad product suite.

This internship is for you if you are a detail oriented problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, both internally and externally. You have a passion for marketing and a love for education technology. You understand advertising concepts and data/audience monetization strategies. 

Quizlet is located in San Francisco, CA and Denver CO. and our London team is our first outside the United States.

In this internship, you’ll:

  • Build marketing collateral and sales enablement material that captures the value proposition and positioning Quizlet’s brand advertising product suite
  • Develop comprehensive, strategic proposals that cover the objectives and deliverables for successful ad campaigns
  • Collaborate with key partners from sales, product, and other marketing departments to strategize on effective brand advertising solutions 
  • Craft campaign wrap-up reports that highlight noteworthy trends, meaningful results, and client metrics

At a minimum, we'd like you to have:

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Eye for design and PowerPoint skills
  • Energetic, customer focused self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Creative problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive under pressure-filled situations

It’s preferred if you have:

  • Understanding of digital advertising, it’s measurement and how media is being sold and bought
  • Knowledge of how to create a Go-To-Market strategy
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

Education

  • Applicants should be a Masters student with a focus on in Sales and/or Marketing
