The newly-formed Social Impact Team at Unity is empowering our entire ecosystem to positively impact humanity through real-time 3D applications, augmented/virtual reality, and immersive media. Our Digital Health & Wellbeing program is in its first year of operation and this internship will offer the opportunity to make meaningful, visible contributions to this new initiative.

Day-to-day, you will be working at the intersection of digital health and RT3D technology. You will engage with product marketing, operations, and social impact teams within Unity, and also with creators, researchers, and developers at other organizations around the world. If you are passionate about how technology can tackle today’s leading global health risks, while ensuring that these solutions are accessible to all in need, then look no further.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on current and future digital health and wellbeing applications of RT3D
• Research technological opportunities/challenges for the distribution of healthcare solutions to underrepresented demographics (i.e. Internet access limitations, hardware requirements)
• Produce content such as case studies and creator showcase highlights
• Develop project plans and track progress against deliverables

Requirements 

• Current student pursuing a degree in social impact, policy, business, or management or related field 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
• Research experience, preferably with market research, policy analysis, or other qualitative social science research
