What You’ll Be Doing
Perform research on non-intrusive audio quality assessment
Devise novel audio quality assessment method
Contribute research that can be applied to Zoom product development
Basic Requirements
At least 18 years old, currently enrolled in a four year academic institution pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related STEM field
Coding experience preferably in C/C++, Matlab or Python
Solid knowledge of algorithms, DSP, statistic, random process
Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
Familiar with audio front-end processing such as AEC,AGC,NS
Previous experience with audio quality evaluation method and existing objective quality metric such as ITU-T P.862 or ITU-T P.863
