The Information Security Intern is a member of the Sage Intacct Operations team and provides Information Security support to the Sr. Director, Information Security and other appropriate security and cross functional team members. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain or enhance your Information Security experience and contribute to the organization in a meaningful manner as it relates to Information Security compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Request, collect, track, organize and when necessary, present security compliance related information from various departments, external vendors and partners
• Participate in periodic information systems and compliance audits, risk / vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist with SSAE 18 (SOC 1), SOC 2, PCI and other third-party compliance efforts as necessary
• Assist or drive special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or other relevant STEM fields
• Must have experience with MS Office products with a strong working knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables and Charts.
• Experience in performing infrastructure and application Vulnerability Testing/Assessments a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, coordinate, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Previous or current experience related to Information Security concepts a plus
• Experience or relevant coursework in statistical analysis
• Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a "can do" attitude
• Must be able to and willing to work independently with minimal amount of supervision
