Job Description

On the Data team at Wish, we are using data to build one of the fastest growing and largest eCommerce startups today, with over 300 million users. We're doing this from the ground up, and building our own merchant platform, logistics network, customer service software, and content management tools. We're a small team and move quickly. This is a full-time or part-time internship (3-5 days/week) for 6 months, starting immediately.

What you'll be doing:

• Applying your quantitative, data mining, and presentation skills in helping the business to understand growth drivers and identify opportunities for optimization
• Defining and validating metrics to evaluate business performance
• This role will have exposure in various parts of the business such as merchant growth, logistics, customer service, and content.
• We work with Python, SQL, Hive, Apache Airflow, Git

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in computer science, math and/or software engineering
• Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
• Interest in end-to-end feature development from design to execution
• Self-motivated, hands-on, relentlessly focused on impact, and able to operate under a great deal of independence
• Strong knowledge of statistics
• Familiar with SQL
• Clear communicator
• Experience from at least 1 previous internship in Data Science or Analytics
